Program Peduli’s mission is to realize social inclusion in the wider community as a means of promoting equality and dignity in everyday life. Peduli aims to ensure that all members of society receive equal treatment and have equal access to opportunities as citizens, regardless of any differences.
Under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Program Peduli targets Indonesia’s marginalized groups. Peduli works with civil society as key actors for inclusion. Civil society partners implement localized strategies to improve access to government services, increase social acceptance, participate in community processes and strengthen social inclusion policy at the national and sub-national level.
This website presents a portrait of social inclusion in Indonesia. Stories about communities and governments working together to promote equality and dignity, to share opportunities, to address prejudices, and to restore dignity for a better Indonesia!
